A very belated thank-you for the prize I won in the April edition of Round and About magazine of £200 to spend at Champions Garden Centre in Wallingford. I had great fun choosing my gifts - the water butt I chose has been permanently full (unsurprisingly, given the weather this summer) ever since I got it home, and I have had lots of use out of the garden tools and George Foreman grill.
It sounds corny, but 'I never win anything', and this time I was wrong.

I just wanted to say a massive "thank you" for my prize in a recent competition to win tickets to Battle Proms. We went on Saturday evening; it was absolutely stunning from start to finish! Brilliant music programme, excellent orchestra and soloists, fantastic sound effects from the cannons and fabulous fireworks; also to be able to watch the Spitfire in flight on such a beautiful evening was something I will never forget!
I have always wanted to go to one of these events, never got around to actually booking one so I was delighted to win the chance to go to an unforgettable evening! Thank you so much.
